Egg Entrepreneur In Illinois

Fannie Bright was the daughter of Captain John Bright who owned a large ranch and hotel in Stanford, Kentucky before the Civil War. Fannie now lives in Normal, Illinois and runs a chicken business. As many as 1,900 eggs may hatch in one day. She then ships them out by rail. Miss Bright runs the business from her home near the Soldiers Orphans Home in northeast Normal.

Lots of eggs.
