100 Years Ago Today

A History Of Events And Happenings From Exactly One Hundred Years Ago

Postmarked June 14, 1912

From Hannah Marie (Honson) Johnson, staying in Malden, Illinois, to her daughter, Ella Matilda (Johnson) Lett, in Mediapolis, Iowa.

Dear Ella!

We got here alright and feel good. We had a good time in Burlington. Frank took us lot of rides. Nettie met us in Princeton and we got an auto and went out to her house. We enjoyed it fine. We had a nice rain today and last night. Arthur and Tillie went to Princeton to the ball game this afternoon. Howard says he is well and is writing now. I wish you could come over. Hope you will write.

Best love,
Mother
