July 4, 1912 – Verndale, Minnesota
July 4th in Verndale attracted huge crowds from neighboring communities. Baseball, horse races at the racetrack just west of town, foot races, bicycle races, speeches by local and state dignitaries were featured. Here a band plays in the bandstand.
