Circus Team Wins In Ohio

The United Commercial Travelers Association of America is a fraternal organization established in 1888 in Cleveland, Ohio to provide accident insurance and other benefits for traveling salesmen and their families. Members of the association are drawn from the ranks of business people and professionals who want to improve their communities.

On July 14, 1912 UCT sponsored a baseball game with the Barnum & Bailey Circus baseball team in Zanesville, Ohio. The Zanesville Chamber of Commerce presented a pennant to the winning team which was the Circus team judging by the BBC logo on their uniforms.
