The Balkan War’s First Moves

With the declaration of war by the Ottoman Empire on Bulgaria and Serbia two days ago, the 4 Balkan countries of Greece, Montenegro, Serbia and Bulgaria are united in the Balkan League against the Ottoman Empire.

On October 19, 1912 the infantries of the Balkan League crossed their borders into the western Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman warship Torgul Reis bombarded the Bulgarian ports of Varna and Balchik on the Black Sea.
