Fighting Continues In The Balkans

The first major battles of the Balkan War have commenced.


The Balkan League forces had made advances throughout the area.
Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia seized territory with Bulgarians advancing on Adrianople and Ishtiop and Greeks occupying Kozani. Greek forces took control of the city of Selanik from the Ottoman Empire, restoring Thessaloniki to Greek control. The Ottoman Empire had captured and occupied the city since 1430.
