German Zeppelin Attacks France

The first aerial bombardment by airships happened when two German Zeppelins dropped 24 high-explosive bombs and incendiaries on the Eastern England towns of Great Yarmouth, Sheringham, King’s Lynn, and the surrounding villages. In all, four people were killed and sixteen injured, There have been several more aerial bombardments in France as well as on the front in Eastern Europe.

On February 22, 1915 German Army airship LZ29 drops 2000lb bombs on Calais for the second night.
